Meet the Rescues
Take a look at some of our recent rescues
We do not include rescues who go through the trap, neuter, vaccinate and return process. Those animals are now healthy, neutered, and living with their colonies. Below are rescues who are currently in rehabilitation that stay with the foundation for long-term care as well as rescues who were adopted out.
Thumper was rescued near the Lincoln Tunnel underpass with other cats from his colony. After implementing the TNVR method, most of the felines were released. Thumper has uveitis and is almost completely blind. To ensure his safety, health, and happiness, the Recalled by Love Foundation is paying for his treatment while he undergoes rehabilitation. Donations for Thumper are now being accepted.
Momo is a vivacious kitten whose love for play is second only to long, luxurious cuddles. Since her rescue, Momo has been spoiled by 24/7 love and attention and is also going through our rehabilitation program.
This little baby girl has found her forever home! Ivory was born to one of our rescues along with two other siblings. She is healthy and enjoys cuddling. We wish her all the best with her new family.
This princess was adopted! Espresso was born to one of our rescues along with two other siblings (Ivory and Scout). This kitten thinks she is royalty and acts accordingly. She likes to take naps is cozy beds and also enjoys being waited on. Espresso also loves to play and "make the rounds" where she goes from person to person to maximize petting. Espresso is finally living like the queen that she is with her new forever family.
RBLF is thrilled that this little guy has found his forever home. Scout was born to one of our rescues along with two other siblings (Ivory and Espresso). This kitten is extremely sweet, loves to eat, and has tons of energy. Scout's favorite things to do are run around, play, get pets from EVERYBODY, and take luxurious post-eating naps.
Frankie Blue Eyes
Frankie Blue Eyes is nothing like the gangster he's named after, save for his piercing stare and his attitude. This rescue is extremely sweet, loves to cuddle, and enjoys sleeping in sinks. He's certainly one of a kind. RBL is thrilled that he has finally found a loving forever home where he will be extremely spoiled and live like the king that he is.
Willy is a true survivor. As a newborn, he was diagnosed with Swimmer Syndrome, a congenital disease, which affects a cat's ability to walk or even stand up. His mother Cameron, who was ill, passed away shortly after his birth. To ensure that Willy would have a full and healthy life, the Recalled by Love Foundation worked tirelessly to rehabilitate him. His profile photo, taken the day he went to his forever home, features a fully-standing, happy Willy.
Charlie Chaplin has a knack for making people smile. This little rescue definitely makes up for his small stature in personality. We are thrilled that Mr. Chaplin has found a forever home where his talents and lovable nature will be nurtured.
Angelina, aka "Minnie Cat", aka "Loud Mouth" is a very tiny kitty with a lot to say. She is one of our older felines in rehabilitation, is being treated for chronic kidney disease (CKD), and is completely deaf. These obstacles don't stop Angie from living life to the fullest. She enjoys talking to people and is very loud since she cannot hear herself. She also likes sitting on people as well as rolling around in the grass. Visit our instagram page to see more videos of Angelina.
Sissy is a spunky kitten who was made for the catwalk. This little rescue was found in New Jersey and is now living a top-model life with her new forever family.
Mac is one of our older rescues and suffers from hyperthyroidism, which causes a decrease in appetite and unusually high thirst among other symptoms. Mac also has epilepsy, resulting in frequent seizures. The Recalled by Love Foundation is working hard to treat Mac and ensure he has a good quality of life. Mac is extremely intelligent and loves to cuddle as well as take walks outside. He can also do tricks (shake hands, high five, sit). Follow us on social media to learn more about Mac (linked below).
Peter is Willy's brother. Their mother Cameron was rescued in New Jersey and diagnosed with a terminal disease. She unfortunately passed away shortly after giving birth to Peter and Willy. Peter was born healthy and strong. This misfit was adopted!
April is a true queen. She enjoys being waited on and drinks water off her paw because etiquette is important. April was adopted along with the rest of her siblings and is thriving in her new forever home where she is treated like royalty.
Winter is a mini-me of his mom. This little bundle of joy loves to explore and is extremely curious. He has spent many hours trying to understand the concept of a mirror. Winter was adopted along with the rest of his siblings and is thriving in his new forever home where mirrors continue to puzzle him.
Stormie is a sweet, playful and friendly kitten who has a one-of-a-kind purr that is sure to brighten up anyone's day. RBLF is thrilled that he has found a forever home where he can play, purr, and take plenty of naps.
